The 17-year-old male is charged with assault and robbery. Police say additional weapons and narcotics charges are pending.
Detectives say they are working to determine if the same juvenile is connected to a different shooting that happened Friday evening, shortly before 11 p.m. That shooting took place in the 500 block of Pemberton Street. Officers say when they arrived to the scene, they discovered two vehicles had been hit by gunfire and there were blood trails on the sidewalk on both sides of the street. One of those blood trails led officers to a home where a 22-year-old male was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
