The Richland County Sheriff’s Deparment has arrested three people in a fraud investigation.
Tocara Middleton, 28, has been charged with two counts of financial transaction card theft, two counts of financial transaction card fraud, two counts of financial transaction identity theft and two counts of criminally receiving goods fraudulently obtained.
Cia Dickerson, 27, was charged with financial card theft, financial transaction card fraud, financial identity theft and financial transaction card forgery. Joshua Peterson III was charged with conspiracy.

According to Sheriff Leon Lott, the trio went to the Home Depot on Two Notch Road, March 31 and bought four gift cards that totaled $400 with stolen credit card information and cloned credit cards.
The group then tried to buy more gift cards at the Fernandina Road Home Depot where they were arrested.
Sheriff Lott said all three came from Tampa Bay, Florida to commit these crimes. All three are currently being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
