Drug Dog Sweep Locates Almost 15 Pounds of Meth in Portland, Oregon

Nearly 15 pounds of meth was found wrapped in a blanket in the trunk of a car after a traffic stop in Southwest Portland.

Officers stopped a Chevrolet Impala along SW 185th and Baseline on Tuesday afternoon, police said. The driver consented to a search of the car.

Lola, a trained drug sniffer, was brought in for the search and found the meth.

Jose Ignacio Reyes-Morfin, 24, is held at the Washington County Jail on charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing meth.
