The information was confirmed in a release from the school, notifying parents of the event. It read, “I’m disheartened to share with you that one of our students was assaulted this morning by another student with a pocket knife. The student who was hurt is being treated for non-life threatening injuries and was able to walk to the ambulance. The other student has been charged with assault in the first degree. This is an isolated incident and none of our other students are in any danger. There is no tolerance for violence of any kind at Bryan Station High School. We will send more communication soon, but wanted to make you aware of what happened.”
