A man was arrested Saturday night after deputies say he led them on a high speed chase in Garrard County.
According to his arrest citation, a Garrard County deputy tried to pull over Robert Aldrich around 10:30 Saturday night in Lancaster. Aldrich then fled from the deputy at speeds reaching 130 miles per hour. The deputy eventually terminated the chase due to safety concerns, but later came across Aldrich in his car after he crashed.

Officials say Aldrich smelled of alcohol and had his wife and one-year-old child in the car. His wife says she tried to make him stop several times during the chase.
Aldrich is being held in the Lincoln County Regional Jail and faces multiple charges including reckless driving, DUI, wanton endangerment, and unlawful imprisonment.
