Lexington police are still looking for information in regards to a fatal hit-and-run collision on New Circle Road.
They say that in the early morning hours of Friday, April 22, officers were dispatched to New Circle Road near Industry Road and Sunshine Lane in reference to an unresponsive man found lying in the roadway.
He died at the scene and was identified as Roger E. Morrison, 52, of Lexington.

Police say Morrison was walking in the roadway on the outer loop of New Circle when he was struck by a dark four-door car. A light four-door passenger car behind the first vehicle swerved to avoid hitting Morrison’s body.
The car that struck Morrison likely sustained damage to the front passenger side and windshield.
Lexington police are asking anyone who might have been a witness or have any information related to this investigation to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at
