Two people charged with attempted robbery in connection with the shooting death of Officer Jason Ellis also went before a judge Thursday.
It was a quick appearance for two people charged in connection to the shooting death of Richmond Police Officer Daniel Ellis. Carl Banks and Rita Creech were in court for a pre-trial conference for robbery charges they both are facings. They both had their hearings continued until next month.
Richmond police say Carl Banks was driving the getaway car during the robbery that officer Daniel Ellis was investigating when he was shot back in November.

Officials say Raleigh Sizemore, the man who is accused of shooting Ellis, is the one who committed the attempted robbery.
Ellis and another officer tracked Sizemore to an apartment where he was inside with Gregory Ratliff and Rita Creech.
Next for Banks and Creech is a hearing on June 23rd where hopefully a trial date for both of them will be set. Ratliff and Sizemore who are both charged in the death of Ellis are due in court tomorrow.
