The Fayette County Coroner says that a woman was found dead in a home on Pickney Drive in Lexington.
He says that the 43-year-old woman has been identified as Amy Koegel.
Lexington police are investigating her death. The coroner says she suffered multiple gunshot wounds. She was found 10:00 a.m. Friday morning.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
Neighbors say that Koegel lived in the home with her three children, her elderly parents and a man.
Neighbors tell LEX 18 that around 3:00 a.m. Thursday morning, they heard a round of gunshots.
Police say they are talking to a person of interest.
