A Pulaski County child has died after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
Dispatchers received a call about a pedestrian being struck in the Rock Lick Creek Road area of Science Hill. Upon arrival, deputies found an unresponsive male juvenile lying in the roadway.
The child was transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as 10-year-old Stanley Turner.

Now officials are searching for the apparent hit-and-run driver. Individuals who may have information concerning this accident or who traveled on Rock Lick Creek Road on Monday, June 20th are encouraged to contact law enforcement.
The Pulaski County Major Crimes Task Force has asked for the public’s assistance in locating a red four-door passenger car driven by a white female.
