Lexington Police believe that the man who robbed a bank Wednesday morning is also responsible for a Tuesday night gas station robbery.
The bank robbery occurred at the Forcht Bank near Russell Cave and New Circle Road. Police tell LEX 18 the suspect approached the clerk and demanded money.
The clerk complied and the suspect fled in a black Nissan Sentra with a red rim around one tire.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s-30s. He was last seen wearing a large white t-shirt, blue and white baseball cap. He has brown hair and a goatee.

The suspect is also believed to be involved in the robbery of a Marathon gas station late Tuesday night in which he walked toward the counter as though he were going to pay for a case of beer.
Instead police say he robbed the store at knifepoint and fled.
