Jackson County officials are investigating after a domestic dispute that resulted in a shooting incident.
On Thursday, Jackson County Deputies responded to a reported shooting complaint at the residence of William Bruce and Brenda Strohmaier on Privett Road in McKee.
Strohmaier reportedly called Jackson County 911 Dispatch to report she had just shot her husband.

JCSO Deputies responded to the residence where they found William Bruce Strohmaier sitting inside his vehicle with a gunshot wound to his arm and side. The victim stated his wife shot him as he and another woman entered the residence and walked into the kitchen area of the home.
The victim stated Brenda Strohmaier opened a bathroom door and began firing a .45 caliber handgun at the victim, which resulted in his injuries.
He told deputies that the shooting occurred because Brenda believed her husband to be having an affair.
Brenda Strohmaier was arrested and charged with first degree assault. She is currently lodged in the Jackson County Detention Center.
William Bruce Strohmaier was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph, London Hospital where he was treated and released.
