Schools in Jackson, Ky. and the Lee Campus of Hazard Community and Technical College are currently on lockdown following the escape of an inmate.

The Breathitt County Sheriff’s Office tells East Kentucky Broadcasting that 35-year-old Donald Eric Combs, of Jackson, got away from authorities shortly after noon Thursday.
Combs was being held on a bench warrant. A foot pursuit is underway.
