Wrongful Death Trial Date Set for Two Accused in Marine’s Murder

A trial date has been set for two men accused in the murder of a Marine.

The men are accused of killing Lance Corporal Jonathan Price outside of a Lexington bar.

The trial for Mulazim and Canada has been set for May 30th, 2017. A status hearing has been set for February 10th, 2017.

Lexington police and prosecutors plan to try and prove that Quincinio Canada and Dawan Mulazim not only killed 26-year-old Price, but they shot his wife Megan and robbed them both.

If they are convicted, the Commonwealth plans to pursue the death penalty.

A grand jury indicted Canada and Mulazim just days after the one year anniversary of the murder.

Police said that three months after the murder of Price, the two accused men went on a lengthy crime spree that included car chases, multiple robberies and even another shooting.
