Lexington Police are investigating after a motel clerk was robbed at gunpoint.
Police tell LEX 18 that the suspect entered the lobby of the Motel 6 on Elkhorn Drive and pointed a silver handgun at the clerk. The suspect demanded cash and then fled on foot.

The clerk described the robber as a white male standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. A ski mask covered his face so a more detailed description was not available. If you have information on the subject’s identity, contact police.
