Police in Grant County are warning residents to take a good look at their cash after reports of counterfeit money in the area.
The Dry Ridge Police Department shared a photo of a counterfeit bill on their Facebook page on Saturday. They said someone left it as tip money not realizing it was fake.

Officers are encouraging people to take a close look at your $5 bills, noting the serial number, hidden strip, and watermark.
