A Galveston jury on Monday sentenced a 37-year-old woman to 52 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to charges that she and her husband had sex with a 16-year-old girl, the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office said.
Aimee Charlene Orgo was sentenced to 20 years in prison on each of two charges of sexual assault of a child and 12 years on a charge of sexual performance by a child in October 2015, according to a news release.

The victim testified that she reported the abuse to Texas City school district officials and to friends. She also testified to abuse by the couple in August 2013, when she was 14.
Orgo pleaded guilty to the charges March 2 before District Judge Lonnie Cox.
Orgo’s husband, Mathew Bryan Orgo, 46, is awaiting trial.
