Private Detective: KSP Searching For Robbery Suspect, May Be in Indiana

KSP is investigating a robbery that happened in Carroll County Wednesday morning.

Around 10:44 a.m., KSP said that they received a call of a robbery at Cowboy’s Gas Station in Ghent.

They say that preliminary investigation revealed that Billy Sangster, 47, of Warsaw, allegedly entered the gas station, brandished a firearm, and took some cash before fleeing the scene in a silver Ford Escort.

KSP said that a pursuit took place until Sangster entered Indiana on KY Highway 1039. Authorities in Indiana pursued him by vehicle and on foot.

He is believed to still be at large in Indiana.

Sangster is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with blue eyes, bald with a goatee, and weighing approximately 165 pounds.  He was last seen in blue jeans and no shirt.  Sangster is wanted for robbery 1st degree and is considered armed and dangerous.
