A boy is recovering in the hospital after being caught in the crossfire of a shooting in Lexington Sunday morning.Police say the violence broke out on Charles Avenue. The child was reportedly walking down the street when he was hit by gunfire. He told officers shots were being fired from multiple cars, and that the occupants were shooting at each other
Lexington Police tell us the boy walked to his grandfather’s house nearby and was taken to the hospital. He was shot in the hand and a bullet grazed his leg, but he’s expected to be okay.Police are still working to identify suspects in this case. Anyone who saw anything should give them a call.
