Identity Theft Huntington Beach Unknown Women

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from victims’ bank accounts through identity theft and forgery.

Huntington Beach Police released several surveillance images Tuesday showing the woman illegally withdrawing funds from the Huntington Beach Chase Bank branch, at 19461 Main St., using stolen account information.

The woman is wanted in connection with identify theft and account takeovers at Chase Bank locations throughout California and Nevada, according to Huntington Beach Police.

She typically withdraws cash from various accounts using fraudulent identification. Her most recent crime occurred on April 4, in Freemont.

The amount of money stolen from victims, to date, is believed to be more than $300,000, according to the HBPD.
