Missing Person Claudia Gordon

MIAMI TWP. — A 43-year-old woman is considered a “critical missing” person because she hasn’t been seen since Sunday and needs medications.

Claudia Gordon, who lives on Deerfield Road in this Clermont County community, went missing around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, a news release said Tuesday evening.

Early on Tuesday, police said they were notified that Gordon had a phone conversation with her mother Sunday evening and said she was calling from Clermont Mercy Hospital. Gordon said she was suffering from a headache and was “checking herself into the hospital,” police said, noting that records do show that Gordon did register at the emergency room but before medical professionals examined her.

“According to family and medical authorities, Gordon has been diagnosed with depression and paranoid schizophrenia. Ms. Gordon is also a diabetic and currently without her medication,” a news release said

While at the hospital, she was wearing blue jean Capri pants with sparkles, a black-and-white shirt and black flip-flops with animal-print straps. She was driving a 1995 dark blue Toyota Camry four-door bearing Ohio License EAC 3621. The “Toyota” nameplate on the rear of the car is missing the letter, “a,” so it reads, “Totot,” police said.

“We’re concerned for Ms. Gordon’s safety due to the nature of her medical diagnosis and lack of access to her medication,” said Miami Township police Sgt. Al Fatute. “We’re hopeful that someone will recognize Ms. Gordon or her vehicle and call us so we can assist in her safe return home.”

Anyone with information on Gordon’s whereabouts should contact the Miami Township Police Department through the Clermont County Communications Center at 513-732-2231.
