The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in identifying a woman who is now at UK Hospital after she suffered head trauma in a motorcycle accident on June 14.
The accident happened at about 11 p.m. on June 14 on Highway 30 East, approximately three miles from the Jackson-Owsley County line.

According to the only information officials have obtained, the woman could be named Patty and is 47 years old. She was a passenger on a motorcycle when she apparently fell off, according to the driver of the motorcycle who gave this information to the first EMS responder before he drove off.
The Sheriff’s Office says there has been no contact from anyone concerning this accident. They said they have contacted Laurel and Owsley County authorities to see if a missing person report has been filed, and so far there have been none.
