A Golden Alert has canceled for a missing person in Pendleton County after she was located safe in North Carolina Tuesday..
Police had been searching for Carlee Garrison, 19. Garrison does not drive and has a mild mental disability. She was last seen in the Morgan Berry area of Pendleton County Sunday night.

Officials say Garrison had gone to Jacksonville, North Carolina with two men. The mother of one of the men was arrested for custodial interference because though Garrison is technically an adult, her mental disability requires her have a guardian, which is her mother.
It is believed Garrison’s family is making plans to go to North Carolina to pick her up.
