CLARKSVILLE, TENN. — A Michigan woman is worried that her missing daughter is in danger somewhere in Clarksville.
The last time Mary Adams spoke with her daughter, Frances Marie Cohen, 23, was in April, she said. She filed a missing person report with Clarksville Police on Sunday.
Police spokesman Officer Jim Knoll said Cohen has an arrest warrant on file for violation of a court order. On May 15, Cohen was charged with prostitution and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, he said.

Adams, of Ishpeming, Mich., said the more Cohen is in trouble, the more she runs.
“I just hope she’s safe,” she said. “If she’s arrested, at least I know she’s safe.”
Adams said her daughter moved to Clarksville about a year ago to get away from the treacherous winters in Michigan.
“I’ve done everything I can do in Clarksville,” she said. “All my friends and family in Michigan are very supportive.”
Attempts by The Leaf-Chronicle to reach Cohen’s last known cell phone number were unsuccessful, and her voicemail was full.
Knoll said Cohen’s last known address was 606 Elder St., but her current address is unknown.
A detective was recently assigned to the case, Knoll said.
Adams said she wishes anyone with information would come forward. She said she will be setting up a Facebook page soon so people can post information.
