Nathan Tracy, 19, from Trenton, Mich., has been missing since Wednesday, Sept 5, when he left his home in a Ford Focus to see some friends, and ended up in a traffic accident.
Pittsfield police said that Nathan was on Ranchero Drive around 11:30 p.m. when his car went off the road and crashed into the back of a truck parked in a carport at the Valley Ranch Apartments.
Nathan got out of the car and talked with someone who saw what happened and then walked away. He has not been seen since, reports the News Herald.

When Nathan did not return home, his family filed a missing person report, and the search for Nathan began.
Pittsfield Public Safety Director Matt Harshberger said that the state police helicopter had completed a search of the area on Friday and Nathan was not found.
Because Nathan walked away from the accident, it is now considered a hit and run and his family believe he may be afraid to turn himself in.
“Right now we’re not worried about charges,” Harshberger said. “We just want to find him safe.”
His family and friends have also been searching the area around the Valley Ranch Apartments where Nathan had his accident.
“Nathan, we love you unconditionally. Please call us and we’ll help you figure out everything, Nathan’s mom, Mishelle Tracy told AnnArbor.com.
Nathan was wearing a blue tank top, shorts and deck shoes. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Pittsfield Township Dept. of Public Safety at 734-822-4911.
