One Laurel County man has been arrested after police say he shared images of child sexual exploitation online.
64-year-old Lloyd Wilson was arrested on Thursday around 4:30 p.m. as a result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation.

The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch started investigating after discovering Wilson was allegedly sharing pictures of child sexual exploitation online. The equipment used in the alleged crime was taken to KSP’s forensic lab for examination.
Wilson was charged with two counts of distribution and three counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Each charge is punishable by one to five years in prison.
Wilson is currently in the Laurel County Detention Center. Additional charges are expected.
The investigation is ongoing.
