Private Detective: Possible Marijuana-Laced Lollipops Found at Woodford Co. High

A Woodford County principal had thought he’d seen and heard it all, until some students brought marijuana lollipops onto the school’s campus.

“We’ve seen a variety of ways that people try to smuggle in stuff that they shouldn’t have at school,” said Woodford County High School Principal Rob Akers.

Akers says that Versailles Police told the school to be aware of lollipops laced with Marijuana that were possibly at the school.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

“Sure enough we found that we had a few in the building,” said Akers.

The lollipops are in a building with Kentucky State Police undergoing analysis to be certain that Marijuana is the substance in question.

“Based on some of the reactions some of the kids had to them, it wasn’t just an over-the-counter sugar sucker,” Akers told LEX 18.

After ¼ century as an educator, Akers thought he was prepared for almost anything he’d come across in these hallways.

“It’s just another thing to have to try to be aware of and to try to make sure that we’re keeping our kids safe,” said Akers.
