Missing Person Robert Lee Bishop of Helena, Montana

The Montana Department of Justice has issued a Missing/Endangered Person Advisory (MEPA) for Robert Lee Bishop, a 78-year old man with possible dementia.

Bishop was last seen on the evening of June 16, 2016 in Livingston.

He is 5’10”, about 197 pounds, with blue eyes and gray hair.

He does not have his medication with him and called his family reporting that he was lost.

Bishop drives a 2012 light silver blue Hyundai Sonata with Washington license plate AVU7325.

On Thursday night, a cell phone ping indicated that he may be in the Missoula area, possibly trying to return to his home in Washington.

Missing Person Michigan State Police Searching for 17 Year old Teen

Michigan State Police and Buena Vista Township Police are investigating a missing person case. Seventeen-year-old Rae-Showna Oneal Jones was last seen December 17, 2015 in Saginaw Township, walking along State Street near Wieneke. Police think she could be in Flint, Detroit or Chicago.

Jones is described as a black woman between 6′ and 6’2″, weighing 150 ppounds. She has brown eyes and black hair, which was in braids tied into a pony tail. She was wearing a grey Ohio State sweatshirt with red letters, blue jeans and brown boots.

Private Detective: Police Searching For Jimmy John’s Robbery Suspects

Police are searching for two men who they say robbed the Jimmy John’s on Waller Avenue.

Police tell LEX 18 that the men walked in with their faces covered and demanded money. One pulled out a gun and they ran off with the cash.

Police do not believe they had a car in the area.

The robbery happened around 5:50 p.m. Monday.

One of the suspects had a hoodie on and the other had his shirt pulled over his face.

Private Detective: Pike Co. Man Says He Shot Two Men Stealing From His Garage

A Pike County man says that he was forced to shoot two men who were stealing from his garage.

At 7:00 Monday morning, Randel Stewart says he noticed a suspicious car parked in front of his garage. Stewart says he then confronted two men in the process of stealing things from his garage and he was forced to use his gun.

He told LEX 18 that during the confrontation, one of the men went to the car and grabbed what he thought was a wrench.

“I went around the front, he stopped at his door and got something, I figured it was a lug wrench or something, evidently it was a gun and I shot him,” said Stewart. “When we met at the sign I shot him,  this other guy was comin’ out of the garage. I can’t remember if I shot him in the garage or if he come out. But I popped him too, because he had something in his hands too and I thought it was a lug wrench or somethin’. I wasn’t about to let them kill me.”

The two men are dead. They have been identified by KSP as John Rowe, 41 of Pikeville and Tommy Elswick, 38 of Robinson Creek.

Missing Person Laurel Co. Man Found Safe

Update: Denver King has been found safe.

A Golden Alert has been issued for a missing 59-year-old Laurel County man with mental issues.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Department says that he is believed to be headed to Tennessee from Old State Road in Lily. They believe he may be on I-75.

He was driving a 2008 maroon colored F-250 Ford pickup.

The Sherriff’s Department told us that they do not know where his destination is.

The man is Denver King.

King is described as a white man, 6’0’’, 225 pounds, blue eyes and brown hair.

Wrongful Death Victims ID’d in Frankfort Murders

The victims from a weekend shooting in Franklin County have been identified.

Franklin County investigators say they were dispatched to a home on Pea Ridge Road, just outside Frankfort city limits, on Friday night a little before 6 p.m.

When officials arrived they found two people inside shot to death. Those individuals have been identified as Jennifer Lynn Downey, 32, and Carolyn Barker, 89. Both women were from Frankfort. Downey was a caretaker for Barker.

A few hours before the bodies were found at the house on Pea Ridge Road, Franklin County coroner William Harrod told LEX18 authorities responded to what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a home on Washington Street. There they discovered Raymond Voin Barker,69.

At this point, investigators cannot confirm if the two cases are connected, but they say Raymond and Carolyn Barker are related.

Downey was a mother of five children.

Sheriff Pat Melton said that they are not looking for a suspect at this point.

Pedophile Tracking Nelson County Man Arrested for Child Porn

A Nelson County man is in jail after facing charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

Brynton Byrd was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.

Byrd is accused of distributing images of sexual acts involving children.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Byrd’s residence in Bardstown. Unspecified equipment was seized and is pending a forensic examination.

Byrd is currently charged with 20 counts of possession and 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Each charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.

Byrd was lodged in the Nelson County Detention Center.

Wrongful Death KSP Investigating Shooting Deaths in Pike County

Kentucky State Police confirm that they are investigating the shooting deaths of two individuals in Pike County.

A state police spokesman says it is too early in their investigation to releases names or the gender of those involved.

LEX 18 news has been told the investigation does involve a possible attempted robbery that was stopped by the homeowner, but that is not according to officials.

Missing Person Brendan Lybarger of Flagstaff

Flagstaff Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.

Brendan Lybarger, 40, was last seen in Flagstaff on May 24. Lybarger is a white man, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 145 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.

Private Detective: KSP Searching For Two Would Be Thieves

Kentucky State Police in Pike County are asking for the public’s help finding two men they say attempted to steal money and caused $1,500 worth of damage. The incident happened at Pirates Cove Car Wash early Sunday morning.

Troopers say two men tried to steal money from the coin machines inside the car wash. While there was no money inside the machines, police say the two men caused extensive damage to the machines.
