Pedophile Tracking Two San Antonio Men Accused of Sexually Abusing Daughters

Two men arrested Friday are each accused of sexually abusing their own daughters multiple times.

Alex Gloria Reina, 49, and Joseph McKinley Rachal, 73, each face a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child, according to Bexar County records. Their bail was set at $75,000.

Reina is accused of sexually abusing a female starting when she was in fifth grade, continuing until she was 16, according to an arrest warrant affidavit. Now 19, she recently made the made the allegations to San Antonio police investigators and described multiple assaults including inappropriate touching and sex.

The woman told police that Reina would have sex with her about two times a week, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit states the abuse occurred in Indiana, where they once lived, and continued after they moved to San Antonio.

Here, Reina continued sexually abusing his daughter, even when others were inside the home, police noted in the affidavit. After recently telling police of the incident, the family said they were concerned for their safety while living in the same house as Reina.

In Rachal’s case, his 6-year-old daughter was talking to a fellow student on the bus when she began describing how he placed jelly on her private parts and proceeded to have sex with her, according to the affidavit.

That’s when the student told her mother, who relayed the information a school counselor. The allegations later reached the Converse Police Department.

Detectives confirmed Rachal was placing a jelly type substance on his daughter before committing sexual acts. She told police that she asked him to stop, but he did not listen.

The girl told investigators the sexual abuse occurred more than once, describing how she was undressed and placed on a bed or couch depending on what room they were in, according to the affidavit.

Investigators noted in the affidavit that the child was very bright, articulate and expressive, and that she knew the difference between the truth and a lie. They added that she was very consistent in her accounts with multiple investigators.

Rachal and Alex were still in jail as of Saturday night. There was no indication that either of the cases of abuse were related.

Wrongful Death CA Man Arrested in NH

A California man is being housed in the Merrimack County House of Corrections fighting extradition to face a murder charge after he allegedly bludgeoning a man, hiding his body, fleeing the state, and then being arrested in Concord this week, according to court documents.

Joshua Richard Ruoff, 30, of South Lake Tahoe, CA, was arrested on May 23, 2016, for being a fugitive from justice.

According to court documents, sheriffs form the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Department were sent to the Charlie Hurt Highway in Covelo, CA, on May 18, 2016, for a report of a possible physical attack at the home the day before.

When they arrived, at just after 7 p.m., deputies reportedly found physical evidence that indicated a crime had occurred at the home. The occupant of the home – Timothy Sweeting – was also missing.

During the investigation of the crime, witnesses alleged that they saw Ruoff allegedly assaulting Sweeting with a blunt object. A missing person investigation was initiated by sheriffs to find Sweeting but he had had no recent contact with family or friends since the assault. Sweeting’s 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe and Ruoff himself were also missing, according to sheriffs. More evidence was taken from the home, with the district attorney’s office and criminalists from the state processing the crime scene.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

The next day, Sweeting’s Tahoe was located parked on the side of the road about a mile from the home. Sheriffs also learned that Ruoff had rented a U-Haul truck and left the state, with a possible plan to head to New Hampshire where he had lived previously. California detectives then reached out to the New Hampshire State Police major crimes unit for assistance.

“The investigation continued and evidence was gathered, including witness statements and physical evidence that supported the belief that Ruoff had murdered Sweeting and disposed of his body,” according to Detective Sergeant Andrew Porter of the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.

The DA’s office in Mendocino County issued an arrest warrant for a murder charge against Ruoff on May 23, 2016, and that same day, he was arrested by New Hampshire State Police at the U-Haul on Stickney Avenue in Concord.

Detectives from California traveled to New Hampshire that day and for two days, worked on the case with the help of the New Hampshire State Police, including search warrants that were issued in the case.

“During the two days in New Hampshire, additional evidence was gathered to support the belief Ruoff had murdered Sweeting,” Porter said in a statement. “Ruoff was booked into the Merrimack County Jail where he was to be held on a no bail status. Ruoff was challenging extradition to Mendocino County and the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office is working on getting him extradited to Mendocino County.”

Detectives are also still looking for the remains of Sweeting, which have not been located.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office at 707-463-4089, or call the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Tip line at 707-234-2100.

Identity Theft Huntsville, AL Man Indicted on Federal Bank Fraud, and Identity Theft Charges

A Huntsville man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges alleging he counterfeited business checks stolen from the mail and reaped in the money gained from cashing them at multiple North Alabama banks.

Bernard Eugene McKinney II, 28, was indicted Wednesday on six counts of fraud and two counts of aggravated identity theft, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama. The six checks in question earned him and co-conspirators almost $53,000.

A news release from U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance alleges that McKinney would steal the business checks from the U.S. mail and forge the signatures of the people who signed the original checks to make counterfeit ones. He would change the name of the payee to his own or to other people’s names, then he and those others would cash the checks at north Alabama BBVA Compass Bank branches and take the money for personal use.

http://liarcatchers.com/identity_theft_investigation.html

His co-conspirators were not named in the release and it was not immediately known if they also face charges at this time. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service investigated the case.

It is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney David H. Estes.

The maximum penalty for bank fraud is 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine. The punishment for aggravated identity theft is a minimum two-year prison sentence served consecutively with any penalty imposed for a related crime, along with a maximum $250,000 fine.
