Private Detective: Thieves Steal From Local Furniture Store

Very brazen thieves stole big-ticket items from a furniture store off New Circle Road.

Faye Schimke, the manager at the Lexington furniture store, says that surveillance video shows the thieves made off with $13,000 in merchandise. They made off with a fire pit, four chairs, a love seat group and a chair group.

Faye believes multiple people were involved because some of the furniture stolen was very heavy.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

“I’m pretty sure that they scoped out the place ahead of time, because they knew where the cameras were, and knew to avoid the cameras,” said Faye.

She is willing to rule out any former employees because the store has not had any turnover within the last year’s time. She says most employees have been there 5-10 years.

Faye is hopeful that with the added security implemented since the furniture was stolen, that no one will steal from the store again.

If you have any information on who may have stolen the items, please call the Lexington Police Department at (859) 258-3600.
