A Pike County woman has pleaded guilty to charges related to abusing an elderly patient at a nursing home.
Christyna Little, 32, of Virgie, pleaded guilty to one count of reckless adult abuse and neglect, a Class A misdemeanor. Little pleaded guilty last week and was sentenced to 12 months and granted probation for 24 months.

The charges stemmed from an incident that took place in September 2015, while working as certified nursing assistant at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pikeville, Little admitted coming to work intoxicated and injured the arm of a nursing home resident.
Little was indicted by a Pike County grand jury in December.
