Private Detective: Police Searching For Suspect in Lexington Restaurant Theft

Detectives with the Lexington Police Department are working to identify a suspect in a restaurant theft investigation.

On Sunday, February 12, a man entered Sav’s Grill located at 304 South Limestone Avenue while an employee had briefly stepped out of the restaurant. The man was later seen on surveillance video taking money from a tip jar next to the register.

The man is described as a white man with a gray backpack. Anyone with additional information about this investigation is asked to call the Lexington Police Department’s Bureau of Investigation at (859) 258-3700.
