Pedophile Tracking High School Volleyball Coach Facing Charges

A 53-year-old high school volleyball coach is facing multiple charges after authorities say he tried to arrange a sexual encounter with a 13-year-old girl.

Charles Goubert was arraigned Thursday in Clinton Township’s 41-B District Court on three counts of child sexually abusive activity, a 20-year felony, and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime, a 15-year-felony.  He was given a $100,000 bond and is due back in court on Oct. 27.

Goubert, the assistant volleyball coach at Yale High School, was arrested Wednesday after a lengthy investigation by the Macomb County Sheriff’s Computer Crimes Unit.

According to investigations, Goubert had posted an ad on a social media website indicating he was looking to meet a 13-year-old girl for the purpose of performing sexual acts on her. Pretending to be a young girl, undercover detectives initiated contact with Goubet via e-mail and text messages.

Detectives arranged to meet Goubert at a predetermined time and location. When he showed up, Goubert was immediately arrested and brought to the Macomb County Jail.

“The Sheriff’s Office will be vigorous in their investigation and apprehension of individuals who are attempting to prey on children,” Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said in a statement.

Yale Public Schools immediately placed Goubert on administrative leave upon learning of his arrest. A spokesperson said Goubert did not teach at the school, but had been on the volleyball coaching staff for the past decade.

Superintendent Kenneth Nicholl has reportedly contacted the parents of students on the volleyball teams. A private meeting with players, parents, counselors and administrators is set for Friday.

Missing Person Christina Montes Last Seen in Boulder City, NV

The search is still going on for a mother of two who has been missing for more than four months.

Loved ones say Christina Montes disappeared on a hiking trail, but the National Park Service isn’t convinced.

Now, a private investigator is stepping in to help and he believes there is more to the story.

It is a missing persons case to the park service, but to her mother and the private investigator she is working with, the disappearance of Montes is suspicious.

Until there is more evidence to prove otherwise, they believe foul play may be involved.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

It has been more than four months since Florence Frazier saw her daughter.

“It has been really tough,” Frazier said. “She is very precious to us. We want her home.”

Montes was last seen on June 3. She was caught on camera at a Vons grocery store in Boulder City.

Loved ones say the 35-year-old Henderson woman was heading to a camping trip at the Arizona Hot Spring with her friend, 62-year-old James Edward Johnson.

Two days later, Johnson’s body was found, but there was no sign of Montes.

“I don’t believe that my daughter ever made it out of this park,” Frazier said.

However, investigators aren’t convinced Montes ever made it to the park.

“This is a mystery,” spokesperson for the park service Christie Vanover said.

Vanover says the National Park Service searched the area for Montes after her friend’s body was found, but ended the search on June 13.

After talking to several visitors and finding Johnson’s scooter in a parking lot by the trail with none of Montes’ belongings in it, the case is at a standstill.

“It’s still open but until there is new evidence that points us in the direction of where to go,” Vanover said.

Just when she was feeling that the park service gave up, Frazier got a call from a private investigator offering his help for free after finding a flyer on his truck during a visit.

“It’s a missing person and it’s a mother that is missing her daughter,” private investigator Lyle Sharman said.

Sharman says he believes foul play may be involved.

“Based on what we’re finding and the information we’re finding, it’s so solid and it’s so intriguing that you have no choice but to go down that road and keep looking for it,” Sharman said.

Vanover confirms Johnson died from methamphetamine overdose. Frazier says her daughter did struggle with drugs.

Sharman says he is tracking down others in the drug world Johnson and Montes may have come in contact with and their stories aren’t adding up.

“You can never imagine this,” Frazier said.

Sharman and Frazier say they believe Montes, a mother of two, is dead. And, they share a passion of finding out how and why.

“My family, we will never be whole again, but at least we’ll have some peace,” Frazier said.

Frazier says Montes wouldn’t have just taken off on her own because she told her family that she was going on that camping trip and she was seen on that video at Vons with her friend.

Red Rock Search and Rescue will search Arizona Hot Spring and Willow Beach area next Saturday.

Sharman is looking for volunteers to help find clues into Montes disappearance, to help contact him through UPIAZ@YAHOO.COM

The shooting happened on Mccullough Drive, in the Winburn neighborhood around 10:30 a.m.

It was day that started with lights and sirens, and ended with heavy hearts

“My heart bleeds for his mother and his father, his family. He was a good hearted young boy,” said Kelly Washegesic. She lived near Adams and considered him a friend.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

For most people that new Adam’s, his death is a loss that just doesn’t make sense. Friends and family said he was too good, to go this way.

“That’s a son, that’s a nephew, that’s a brother, that’s a cousin. That’s somebody that is loved and now his life is taken because of somebody else,” said Washegesic.

Police said on Friday morning someone shot Adams at the Winburn area apartment complex. Investigators said when they arrived, Adams was lying in a second-floor hallway, dead.

“They told me the young man was shot in the back of the head in front of my doorway,” said Christopher Smith. He came home from work to the tragic scene. However, for him and other neighbors, the horror was learning who was killed.

“It’s just really sad… He’s still a kid,” said Smith.

“I was like no way, it can’t be him. And it’s devastating, it’s devastating,” said Washegesic.

Friends said Adams had a way with people. He was selfless, and found joy in helping others.

“I will always remember him. I will always remember the good from him, the good heart he had. He’s going to be missed dearly,” said Washegesic.

Now as police search for his killer, friends ask the public to act like Adams did while he lived, and help if they can.

“Don’t be afraid to step out and help. I would want somebody to help my kids if they were in trouble. And I am pretty sure Jeffery’s family would enjoy the same,” said Washegesic.

“I pray for the family. I pray that they get closure and find out who did this,” said Smith.

If you know anything about Adams’ death, you’re asked to call Lexington Police.

Missing Person Katy McDonald of Port Charlotte, FL

A Port Charlotte family is desperately searching for 34-year-old Katy McDonald.

She was last seen at her apartment on October 11th. Neighbors said she was doing laundry.

When family members went to check on her a few days later, Katy was gone.

“We’re very concerned,” Katy’s mother Gwen Alvarez said.

“It’s just like a stone instead of a heart it’s rough,” she added.

The 34-year-old has been living by herself.

Family members said her door was left unlocked, the lights were left on and her laundry was left in the machine.

“It’s unlike her to do something like this and just disappear.

This whole thing doesn’t make any sense to us we’re as a family very very concerned,” Katy’s brother Andrew McDonald said.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

“She’s a very independent person she’s a very strong person but she is a small woman and it wouldn’t be hard for somebody to over power her,” Alvarez said.

Family members said Katy left no signs of where she went and her cell phone was broken.

Neighbor Robert Carroll said he found her keys behind a trailer.

Now, friends and family are hoping and praying for Katy to come home safe.

“She never knew a stranger so that’s a good thing but also can be a risky thing we’re hoping for a happy resolution Katy if you see this please give Andy or Matt a call,” Alvarez said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Katy McDonald is asked to call the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office at 941-639-2101.

Wrongful Death Competency Hearing Held For Man Accused of Killing Somerset Attorney

A hearing was held Friday for the man accused of fatally shooting a prominent defense attorney in Somerset this summer.

Attorneys met in a Pulaski County court to determine if Clinton Innabnitt, the man police say admitted to loading his gun and waiting for Mark Stanziano to show up for work to shoot him, is competent to stand trial.

The victim’s widow, Bethany Stanziano, says she knew her husband’s killer personally.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

“There were days it was hard to tell what was going on through Clint’s mind,” she said. “I don’t know if he’s competent or not; I know that’s what they are addressing today. So I don’t know, we’ll see.”

Bethany now works out of the same office as her late husband and picked up his cases since his death on June 27.

“It’s very hard to walk into the office everyday and to retrace the path that he took that morning, and to walk over to where he fell,” she said.

Police say Inabnitt waited for Stanziano as he walked into work and fired off seven rounds, shooting Stanziano multiple times in the torso. A sheriff’s deputy reportedly saw the shooting and took Inabnitt into custody immediately.

Apparently, Inabnitt had approached Stanziano the night before about needing help and the attorney couldn’t help him. Police say Inabnitt had made previous threats toward Stanziano.

“I want Clint to go to prison for the rest of his life and, if he doesn’t go to prison for the rest of his life, then he needs to go to a mental institution so he can’t do this to anyone else,” Bethany said.

Inabnitt’s goes back to court in December.
