Police are trying to find a little girl after she was she went missing Wednesday afternoon in the 100 block of Persimmon Drive. An Amber Alert was issued for three-year-old Ramy Demboski at about 6 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Ramy disappeared at about 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, around the same time as a black woman driving a blueish-silver Dodge Charger knocked on the door of the home where Ramy was staying at the time. Ramy is white and has blonde hair, she was last seen wearing a white shirt with a mouse and kite on it as well as pink and yellow flannel shorts. She was also wearing black flip-flops with pink beads.

FOX 4’s Robert Townsend spoke to Ramy’s stepmom, who said a woman came to her door Wednesday afternoon. Paulina Nave says she looked out her peephole and saw the woman. The hood of the woman’s car was up and she had two small children in the backseat.  The woman asked if she could use the phone. Paulina Nave says she was on her phone so she got a cell phone from a friend of hers and heard the woman call a man, who told her it would be 45 minutes before he could come fix her car.

Paulina then left to pick up her friend’s daughter from school. While she was gone, she got a phone call, telling her Ramy was gone.

“I don’t know where she is. I know what she was wearing. Right before I left to go pick up the oldest daughter, she said ‘Look Mommy. I’ve got fishy shorts on,’ and I didn’t think,.. I didn’t think this woman would take her. She had kids! I gave her water. I gave her Gatorade because she has kids and I have kids and it’s hot and she’s gone,” Paulina Nave said.

Law enforcement agencies are now attempting to locate a silver Dodge Charger with Nebraska plates. The driver is the black female and may have two small children in the back seat. Police are also working to locate Ramy’s biological mother. Family members say she was not allowed to have contact with the children.

A man charged in a 2012 Lexington murder has been indicted in the case.

31-year-old Lazarus Parker was arrested nearly two years after Brian Lee Hodge was found shot to death near 7th and Dakota streets after his shift at Indi’s Fast Food Restaurant.

Charges of evidence tampering were dropped.

A northern Kentucky man has been indicted in connection with a shooting that left one man injured.

Police say 55-year-old Dennis Warner was trying to get people away from his property on May 11 as a crowd was leaving a Mason County nightclub nearby.

Police say Jackson Bennett might have provoked Warner by acting like he was coming toward him. He was shot and taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim and his mother say it was unprovoked. Warner admitted to officers he shot Bennett in the chest.

Warner is charged with assault and is out on bond. He will be arraigned next month.

It appears that the elderly twins charged with child pornography and sexual abuse were leading a double life.

An August 2011 video shows Jack and Jerry Cassidy singing at Bryan Station Baptist church. The 76-year-olds were reportedly loyal church goers and visited nursing homes around Lexington to spread the gospel.

Police say officers not only found hundreds of photos of young boys tied up, naked and kissing each other in the twins’ home, they also found journals documenting the abuse. Investigators say there were records of practically every young boy in their Boy Scout Troop, including birth dates and a timeline.

Police say there was a “poem book” about each child and two books containing logs of sexual abuse. Investigators described the records as “trophies.”

Jack and Jerry Cassidy are accused of abusing children, mainly boy ages 8 to 15, from 1963 to 1985. The case that LEX 18 first broke, has continued to get bigger as more people come forward claiming abuse by the twins.

The Cassidys remain booked in jail. They have each also been indicted on additional charges – four counts of indecent or immoral practices with another. The case has been waived to the grand jury.

Lexington police have teamed up with child sex abuse experts and other professionals to provide counseling for people who may have been victimized by Jack and Jerry Cassidy. Police make it very clear that potential victims are under no obligation to give their names or provide evidence.

Lexington police have charged a man in connection with two bank robberies earlier this summer.

Police say William McBride Jr. robbed the Chase Bank branch on Clays Mill Road in June and the Nicholasville Road branch last month. Investigators say McBride used a handgun during both robberies.

A Louisville mother of three was charged with smoking meth with her teenage daughter and the neighbor’s teenage child, as well.

Police arrested 32-year-old Lisa Gilmore saying they found her smoking meth in her basement while her 16-year-old and the neighbor’s 15-year-old daughter were in there with her.

Police found her other two daughters, a 6-year-old and 6-month-old, locked out of the house.

Lafayette police asked for the public’s help Tuesday night to find a missing 12-year-old girl.

Her name is Selena Hawkins. She did not come home from school Tuesday from Tecumseh Middle School.

She’s about 5-feet 1-inch tall and weighs 125 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, tan pants and pink and gray high tops shoes. She should be carrying a lime green backpack.

A Franklin man is accused of child sex crimes, including prostitution and solicitation.

48-year-old Robert Edward Lyons Jr. was arrested following an investigation at his home on Hayden Drive and his barber shop business on South Street,  Capt. Tim Whitt told WVEC.com.

The investigation began August 20, he added.

Lyons Jr. is charged with one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, three counts of prostitution, solicitation of a minor less than 16 years of age and four counts of possession of a firearm/ammunition by a convicted felon.

Based upon evidence gathered during the investigation, he may have had contact with other juveniles, Whitt stated.

All of the men arrested in a sex sting in the Kalispell area have officially been charged and the Flathead County Attorney’s Office tells us they will get their day in court.

Felony sex abuse charges have been filed against the suspects, and we spoke with Deputy Flathead County Attorney Travis Ahner who tells us that this case will be prosecuted like any other – but it is clear that this one is a little different.

The biggest difference to Ahner is that the Felony Sex Abuse of a Minor charge carries with it some very lengthy mandatory sentencing if any of the men are found guilty.

“At present some of these individuals – the way they’re charged – have a 25 year mandatory minimum…prison sentence, that doesn’t allow for probation. For that first 25 years, with a maximum of 100 years.”

One of the men accused, Christopher Adams, had also been a youth volunteer at the Church of the Nazarene in Kalispell.

Charging documents were filed late Friday and early Monday for Adams, Justin Zeiss and Benjamin Emrich. Daniel Anthony Hall, Joshua Naethe and Karl Wortley were all officially charged by Friday.

Ahner tells us these men will get fair treatment, but there is strong evidence in this case.

“We deal with all sorts of significant crimes. This one it’s going to be a little more publicized, In part because, there are eventually -in some of these cases – we have hands on footage of them, sort of approaching a scene, doing something that a lot of times, don’t have.”

“In a lot of our criminal cases, So it’s going to be a little bit different in that regard. But otherwise, no, for us it’s just any other case, got to proceed through it go through all the steps,” Ahner said.

The first of the six men will be arraigned on Thursday as Karl Wortley will enter either a guilty or not guilty plea. All six of the men are being held in the Flathead County jail on a $100,000 bail.
