Private Detective, Group of Construction Workers Help Police Track Down Man Accused of Rape

A group of construction workers is being credited with helping police track down a man accused of holding a woman at knife-point and raping her.

Police say it happened at the Knights Inn off Newtown Pike Monday morning. A group of workers apparently heard the woman scream and they jumped into action chasing after the man she says raped her.

Right by the hotel, the men were working on the sewage line and say around mid-morning someone dropped the victim off at her hotel room.

“10 or 10:30 something like that. The lady came in with some guy in a gray truck, went to her room. About an hour later she comes out saying she has been raped,” said Charlie Day.

It was that cry for help that grabbed the men’s attention. Without hesitation, not just one, but the entire group of workers took off chasing after 24-year-old Desmond Henson, the person the victim says raped her.

“He had done walked across the building and jumped in his car,” Day said. “We almost had him, but we got his license plate number.”

Thanks to that, police were able to track Henson down at his home. They arrested him and charged him with rape.

Pedophile Tracking Cynthiana Man Charged

Police charged a 75-year-old Cynthiana man with sexual abuse of a victim under 12.

Police say last April, Larry Browning exposed himself to a 6-year-old girl and then stuck her hand on his genitals. Officers say that same day, a mother reported that her little boy was outside playing when he saw Browning sitting on his porch naked, and that he waved for the child to come over. Police say an officer found Browning sitting on a chair completely exposed and smelling of alcohol. According to court documents, Browning blew a .333 on the Breathalyzer.

Police say neighbors told them Browning was known to drink and have people over, but that he never did anything like that before.

Police charged Browning with sexual abuse (victim under 12), indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

Pedophile Tracking South TX Woman Offered Child and Infant For Sex

A 42-year-old South Texas woman has been arrested and accused of offering a 12-year-old relative and an infant to the woman’s long-distance boyfriend to use the children for sex, court documents show.

FBI agents arrested Lydia Vasquez, 42, of Edcouch in Hidalgo County, on Friday. She appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Peter Ormby and was charged with one count of coercion and enticement of a minor, according to an official in the San Antonio FBI office.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

A criminal complaint filed Friday in United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, states that Vasquez had been involved with her long-distance boyfriend, actually an FBI confidential informant from Detroit, and that the pair had been sending text and voice messaging involving explicit sexual conversations for about three to four years.

According to the complaint, around the first week of August, Vasquez sent a text to the informant, offering him a 12-year-old relative to “train sexually” for a visit that the man would make in January. The woman also promised to give the man a relative’s infant, set to be  born in January, so that she and the man could “train” the baby from birth so that it would enjoy sex.

The woman apparently went into detail with the informant on ways to train the infant, including pouring milk or honey on the man and allowing the infant to “lick it off,” according to the complaint.

The man’s visit to Texas was moved up, so when Vasquez went to McAllen Miller International Airport on Friday to meet her boyfriend, she was arrested by authorities, according to a report by Breitbart Texas.

A bail hearing for Vasquez is scheduled for 9 a.m. Aug. 28 in McAllen.

Missing Person FBI Offers $5k Reward in Case of Elkton, MD Teens

One week after they vanished, two Cecil County teenagers are still missing and now the FBI’s involved in the investigation.

Christie Ileto spoke to one of the last people to see 16-year-old Jesse Veasey Jr. alive.

Everyone knows each other on Cow Lane but no one knows what happened to 16-year-old Jesse Veasey Jr. and Ricardo Levenberry, who police say vanished under suspicious circumstances.

“It is the talk of the neighborhood. Everyone knew Jesse and Ricky,” said Theresa Dill.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

Monday means it’s been a week since this missing person mystery first rattled the small Elkton neighborhood. The FBI is now offering a $5,000 reward in the search after both teens were last seen getting into the same vehicle with the same driver only 18 hours apart—never to be heard from since.

“Because of Elkton’s proximity to Delaware’s state line, Pennsylvania and south Jersey, we’re concerned they may have been taken across state lines,” said Pat Dugan, an FBI official.

Brian Roberts was the last one to see Veasey.

“We were playing basketball on 13 and the dark blue car pulled up and I told him, `Do not get in there; something’s about to happen.’ He said, `Why?’ I just said, `Don’t get in there,’” he said.

Police tracked down the drivers of the car, who told them both teens were dropped off and okay.

Elkton police scoured their childhood block for leads, only to come up short.

Veasey’s mother grieves by phone.

“You never think something like this could happen to you,” Rachel Robinson said. “I just want my son back.”

Still, tips to police remain fruitless as Veasey and Levenberry’s disappearances remain a mystery.

Anyone with information should call the FBI’s Baltimore division or Elkton police.

Wrongful Death New Trial Date Set for Man Accused of Killing Family of 5

The Kentucky Supreme court ordered a new trial for a man convicted of killing three children in Leslie County because of a problem with the first trial’s jury.

Clayton Jackson was found guilty of arson and murder in the deaths of three Leslie County children whose parents were also killed, shot with a bow and arrow.

But the jury could not decide if Jackson was to blame for the parents’ death. The supreme court ruled one of the jurors was friends with the victim’s brother and was not replaced because the judge said there was no one to replace him.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

Jackson’s trial was rescheduled for Set. 10, 2015.

The children – Michael, Robert and Jordon Sturgill – died of smoke inhalation after their mobile home was set on fire in 2004.
