Pedophile Tracking KSP Charges Pineville Man With Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses

A Bell County man was arrested Monday on charges related to the distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

KSP says that 50-year-old Harold R. Partin was arrested as the result of an undercover investigation that began after they discovered he was sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a Pineville residence. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic lab for examination.

Partin is currently charged with eight counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

He was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.

The investigation continues.

Missing Person Anthony Solimine of Boston, MA

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in efforts to locate 55-year-old Anthony Solimine who was reported missing at about 5:00 AM on Friday, April 7, 2017. Mr. Solimine was last seen on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at about 1:00 PM at his home in West Roxbury, but was reported missing when he did not show up to his workplace in Wilmington, MA the following morning. Mr. Solimine is described as a white, non-Hispanic male, approximately 5’10” in height with a heavy, stocky build. Mr. Solimine has medium length brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a dark jacket, black pants, and black shoes. Mr. Solimine may be driving a 2004 dark blue Toyota Corolla bearing MA registration plate 9193GP and a bumper sticker that says “Anthony Solimine.”

Missing Person Hani Jama Last Seen in Minneapolis, MN

The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Hani Jama. Jama was last seen on March 24 after she took a family members car and left a clinic, according to police. The car was recovered a week later, unoccupied, in the area of 24th Street East and 5th Avenue S in Minneapolis.

Wrongful Death Man Arrested in Rowan County Shooting Death

One person has been arrested in a fatal shooting that occurred overnight in Rowan County.

The coroner tells LEX 18 that 42-year-old Kenneth Fulton was shot on Leaning Tree Lane at his residence. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

According to court documents, Randy Parmley went to Fulton’s home after he learned his wife was there. The citation states that Parmley confronted his wife about her relationship with Fulton when a physical altercation broke out.

Police say Parmley pulled out a weapon and struck Fulton twice.

Parmley is now facing a murder charge.

Private Detective: Three Arrested in Barren County For Allegedly Making Meth

Three people were arrested in Barren County allegedly for making meth.

31-year-old Tyler Branstetter, 33-year-old Joshua Bunch and 20-year-old Melissa Furlong, all of Glasgow, were taken into custody Friday night.

The Barren County Sheriff’s Office tells us that just before 9:15PM they got a call about Branstetter’s whereabouts; he was wanted for a parole violation. Reportedly when deputies arrived there was a strong chemical smell coming from the home on the 600 block of Jack Brown Road. Deputies believed they were actively manufacturing methamphetamine, they also received a tip that Branstetter may have been armed with a handgun according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Reportedly the suspects wouldn’t come out of the home for three hours. They were eventually taken into custody, deputies say they found materials commonly used to make meth and other drug paraphernalia.

All three are facing charges including manufacturing meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. Bunch and Branstetter are also each facing a charge of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

The Barren River Drug Task Force is leading the investigation.

Private Detective: Man Found on Porch With Gunshot Wounds

A man was found lying on a porch suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police say he was found on Marcellus Drive on a porch around 5:45 p.m. Friday.

He was taken to the hospital and his condition is unknown.

No arrests have been made in the case. Police are interviewing witnesses and people in the area.

Missing Person Body of Letcher Co. Man Found

The body of a missing man was found on Redallen Lane in Letcher County Friday.

The Letcher County coroner said that 38-year-old Allen “Pork Chop” Cornett got into a fight with his girlfriend and left a Cumberland residence in a 2015 black Honda motorcycle on Wednesday at 2:45 p.m. headed in an unknown direction.

A cause of death has not been determined.

His body has been sent to Frankfort for an autopsy.

Private Detective: Lexington Police Seeking Guitar Thief

Detectives with the Lexington Police Department are working to identify a man who stole a guitar from a local business.

On Tuesday, March 7, an unknown white man entered Willcutt Guitars on Rosemont Garden and asked about the price of a guitar. After a few minutes in the store, the man took an Epiphone Les Paul Sunburst guitar and ran out the store without paying for the instrument. A store employee ran after the man and saw him leave in a silver passenger vehicle.

Investigators today released surveillance video from the store. Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is asked to contact Lexington Police at (859) 258-3600.

Pedophile Tracking Lexington Man Arrested in Child Porn Charges

Kentucky State Police have arrested a Lexington man on charges related to possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

Philip S. Mann, 52,  was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Lexington on April 6, 2017. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

Mann is currently charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Each count is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.

He was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.

Accident Reconstruction Drug Use Expected in Fatal Crash

Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Thursday morning in Rockcastle County.

The crash happened on Highland Drive in Mount Vernon.  Officials on scene said a pickup truck went over a hill before it crashed into a trailer home. One person in the truck was killed. Another person survived. No one in the mobile home was injured.

The victim of the crash has been identified as 36-year-old Thomas Franklin Bullen Jr. State police say that he was the driver. They say he was traveling northbound when he lost control of the vehicle and dropped off the shoulder, traveling through the yard before hitting the corner of the mobile home on Tincher Drive.

KSP says Bullen was not wearing his seatbelt.

His passenger, 27-year-old Zackery Mullins, was not wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured.

KSP says that drug usage is suspected to be a factor in the collision.
