Two people are dead after a crash in Floyd County.
It happened Saturday in the Ivel community.
State Police say 53-year-old Peggy Case was driving south on US 23 when for some reason she lost control of her vehicle, overcorrected and crossed into the northbound lanes. An SUV then collided with Case’s vehicle.

Case and a 16-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV and two passengers were taken to Pikeville Medical Center for treatment.
