A groundskeeper at Lindsey Wilson College made a startling discovery Tuesday morning: a decomposed body in a parked truck.
Adair County Coroner Todd Akin said the body was thought to have been there about five days.
The body was sent to the medical examiner’s office in Louisville for an autopsy. A cause of death had not been determined Tuesday afternoon.

The body could be that of a male student who was last seen May 30, Akin said. Investigators did not release the name of the missing student.
The truck was parked at Grider Apartments, a housing unit for upperclassmen.
