“A person was walking their dog, saw the vultures, kind of wandered back to look and see, saw a body and called us,” Jane Watrel with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office told WTEV News.

The police found clothing and items around the body that led them to believe it is a female and the body had been there for several days. The home had been empty for about six months.
“Saturday night we were in the back yard and we were having the pool cleaned, we smelled something, well I smelled something at that time but I didn’t pay it any attention,” said the next door neighbor, Joy Christopher.
The authorities are listing the death as suspicious.
