A Rowan County home where policefound nine kids living in deplorable conditions and arrested both parents earlier this month was searched again by authorities and found the remains of a premature infant.
Kentucky State Police were contacted by the Rowan County Department of Social Services advising that they had possible information about the location of a deceased infant.
A search warrant was obtained for the property belonging to Johnathan Prater and Edith Strange on Igo Road.

While searching the property, police did find the remains and transported them to Frankfort with an autopsy scheduled for Friday.
Both Prather and Strange are housed at the Rowan County Detention Center on the previous abuse and neglect charges.
Currently, the incident remains under investigation.
