Private Detective Lexington Police Search for Burger King Robber

A Lexington Burger King was robbed Sunday morning and police say they are still searching for the man responsible.

According to police, a man walked through the front entrance of the Burger King located at Clays Mill and Keithshire Way, jumped over the counter and made one of the employees get on the ground. The man, armed with a gun, then made the manager retrieve the money.

Police tell LEX 18 that while this was happening, a customer came through the drive thru and one of the employees was then able to ask the customer to call 911.

The robber, described as a black male about 5’7″, took off on foot. For now, police say they are considering him armed and dangerous.

Paso Police Department Crimes Against Person’s Unit is asking the public for help find a missing elderly man. Francisco Reyes Ochoa, 74, was last seen at his home on 9021 Norton Street at around 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29. Ochoa has wandered off in the past and the last time he was found near the International Bridge, where he might have been trying to cross over into Mexico. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, has gray hair and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a dark brown button dress shirt with dark dress pants and brown dress shoes. He might also be carrying a tote bag. Ochoa suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and he left his medication at home. His welfare is believed to be endangered at this time. If anyone has any information on his location they are asked to call the police at 915-832-4400.
