Bell told the victim he and his girlfriend were fighting and he did not want to get in trouble.

The victim agreed to give Bell a ride and followed his directions to Chestnut Road.

According to officials, once there Bell asked the victim to stop driving and then pointed a handgun at him demanding his wallet.

Once the victim handed over his wallet, Bell left the vehicle and got into the vehicle of his girlfriend, who had followed the men to the location.

Video surveillance obtained from the Speedway allowed police to identify Bell as the suspect.

Bell’s girlfriend did verify to police she did drop Bell off at the gas station.

Bell is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall with brown hair and green eyes. He also has several tattoos.

If you know the location of Bell, please contact the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department at (606) 549-6006 or dispatch at (606) 549-6017.

Officials would like to remind citizens to not approach Bell, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
