A 41-year old Riverhead woman has been charged by Riverhead police detectives with identity theft and criminal possession of stolen property.
Police said Lauren J. Wallace was arrested this morning following an investigation of an incident that occurred on March 31 at Riverhead Auto Mall. Wallace was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and identity theft in the third degree, according to a police report.

Riverhead Det. Sean Egan said the incident involved the report of a wallet being removed from a vehicle at the auto dealership on March 31.
