Kentucky State Police confirm a Lexington man who went missing last week after making threats to a woman and three local businesses has been found.

Two arrest warrants for stalking and terroristic threatening were issued last week as police continued their search for Caldwell, who they said could be a danger to himself and others.

Caldwell went missing on May 27 from a home on Eureka Drive in Lexington around 5:00 a.m. Police said he has a mental illness. He was caught on camera that same day just a couple hours later eating at a Laurel County Dairy Queen. Last Friday, police received a tip that Caldwell had possibly been seen at a nightclub in Lexington, but they didn’t find him.

Police say they’re usually sensitive to not disclosing information about someone’s mental state or their health issues, but because of the uncertainty surrounding Caldwell, they knew that public safety had to be the number one priority.

Caldwell has no criminal history in Lexington.
