Cold Case Perry County Double Murder Remains Unsolved

A prominent Perry County businessman and his wife were found shot to death in their home nearly three years ago.

For her daughter, it’s an open wound mixed with terrifying flashbacks and still no answers.

“We don’t know who, we don’t know why and we do struggle every single day,” Shirley Justen said.

Police found Roy and Wanda Campbell shot dead at their secluded home the day after Thanksgiving in 2011.

Justen said she knows as much now as she did in 2011 that someone killed her mother but no idea why.

“Why would they kill my mother?” she asked. “She doesn’t have an enemy in this world.”

Justen said she checks with detectives regularly.

Her mother and stepfather’s deaths aren’t considered a cold case, but investigators are waiting for someone to come forward with answers.

“We know someone knows,” Justen said. “There’s somebody who know what happened and we are still begging and pleading.”

The family is offering a $20,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the Campbells’ killer.
