Lexington police say they have arrested four people in connection with a major drug ring.
Detective say the four people operated a “large-scale” drug trafficking operation involving marijuana and meth in Kentucky and into Ohio.
Police arrested Jesus Navaro Gomez, 36, Anayeli Gomez-Navarro, 30, Ricardo David Rodriguez-Gutierrez, 25, and Andre Diego Nunez-Rivera, 23.
Police say they searched three homes and found marijuana, more than $75,000 in cash, guns, supplies for shipping marijuana and nearly 1,000 grams of meth. Detectives say Rodriguez-Gutierrez admitted to obtaining 500 pounds of marijuana at a time for resale.

Police charged the three men with criminal conspiracy to traffic drugs. Anayeli Gomez-Navarro was charged with trafficking a controlled substance. Navaro faces additional charges of trafficking marijuana and trafficking in controlled substance.
