A robber shot a gas station clerk in Oldham County early Friday morning.
Officials say an armed man walked into the Thorntons on KY-146 in Buckner around 1:53 a.m. During the robbery, the suspect shot the clerk. The victim was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital. Officials say they expect the clerk will survive.

Police say they don’t know if the robber got away with any money. Officials did not provide a description of the suspect, saying only that he was wearing a mask.
