Private Detective: Infant Threatened During Lexington Home Invasion

Lexington police are investigating a home invasion where two men forced their way inside a home and threatened to kill the family’s baby.

It happened Monday afternoon. A family, returning to their home on Alice Drive, tells LEX 18 that they had just taken their rent and Christmas money out of the bank. The mother, who wanted her name withheld, says she, her father, a friend and her child went into the house. Two men immediately followed them through the unlocked front door.

The woman tells LEX 18 that the two men were armed with a knife and a machete and that one of the men held the knife against her 3-month-old baby’s neck while demanding money.
