Lexington police are on the scene of home invasion where a man was tied up.
It happened on Squires Way, around 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Officials say that a man was returning home and one or two people grabbed him from inside his home as he was entering.
The suspect or suspects detained the man and bound his hands and gagged him before tying him to a piece of furniture.

The man managed to make it to a phone and called 911. He was unharmed.
Neighbors tell LEX 18 that they heard screaming.
Police are searching the area but have not yet given a description of the suspect. They haven’t been able to figure out if anything was taken from the scene.
