Lexington Police have charged three juveniles in connection to two burglaries in the Lakeshore area of Lexington.
Officers responded to two homes that reported thefts on February 11. In both situations the suspects forced their way into the homes, after kicking the doors in.

One homeowner told investigators he awoke when he heard the backdoor of his residence being kicked open. He went downstairs to check on the situation while another person in the home called the police. When officers arrived on scene they saw a white-colored, Acura fleeing the scene with the headlights off.
Officers were unable to stop the fleeing vehicle.
The suspects then allegedly stole a vehicle from another residence. The individuals have been charges with counts ranging from burglary, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
As the three are juveniles, their names are not being released
