A Louisville man has been arrested and charged with possession and distribution of child pornography.
On February 12, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, assisted by the Jeffersontown Police Department, arrested Matthew D. Blair, 29, for charges related to possession and distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

Blair was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
Officers executed a search warrant at Blair’s residence. Equipment that police believe Blair used in his crime were taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.
Blair is currently charged with 20 counts of possession and one count of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. He was lodged in the Jefferson County Detention Center.
